The research aims at defining the effect of oxygen deficiency on some functional variables, HIF and digital level for medium distance races athletes, The researcher used experimental method with one experimental group using pre and post measurements because it is suitable for the research nature , The research sample was selected purposely from the athletes of medium distance races in 6th October club and they are (6) athletes and they are at the age of 18 years , The main findings of the study were There are statistically significant differences in level (0.05) between pre and post measurements of experimental group in maximum oxygen consumption variable (VO2MAX) in favor of post measurement,There are statistically significant differences in level (0.05) between pre and post measurements of experimental group in HIF variable in favor of post measurement,There are statistically significant differences in level (0.05) between pre and post measurements of experimental group in red blood cells in favor of post measurement ,There are statistically significant differences in level (0.05) between pre and post measurements of experimental group in lactic acid concentration change variable in favor of post measurement ,There are statistically significant differences in level (0.05) between pre and post measurements of experimental group in hemoglobin variable in favor of post measurement,There are statistically significant differences in level (0.05) between pre and post measurements of experimental group in digital level of medium distance races athletes (800 m.) in favor of post measurement.
