Abstract

Due to bouts amendment of karate rules, which became 3 minutes for both men and women from 18 years old and above this research aims to investigate the results of specific kumite endurance exercises given to kumite female players to improve their VO2 max and bouts endurance and the efficiency of skill performance and match results too, all of this by designing a rationing training program depending on competition performance endurance exercises and specific match conditions and situations.
This study aims to effect of Competition Performance Endurance Training on Respiratory Fitness and Vo₂Max for the Kumite Femele Players. The sample consisted of (26) female kumite players, the Sadat City University team. The average age, height and weight were: (20.35 years-old), (161.75 cm) and (62.42 kg) respectively. The results showed that here is a There are statistically significant differences between the mean values of the pre and post measurement in measuring respiratory fitness and the maximum oxygen consumption(Vo₂Max) for the Kumite Femele Players (+18: -21) in favor of the post measurement of the research sample.
